WISEGROO was formed in the end of 2010. It was Dito (Bassist) who wanted to play in a band again, then he looked for other player. The first person who joined this project was Yogi (Drummer), then Niar (Vocalist) and Fiki (Guitarist) came & joined too. Dito & Yogi have same last name, “Wicaksono” which has meaning wise, so they decided to name this band WISEGROO because they play groove music, and they hope they can spread wisdom to all of you. WISEGROO was complete after Tata (Keyboardist) fill the melodic section to make their groove more colorful. They give more than just groove to all of you. Enjoy their single, “Lelah”! :)

Have you ever had conflicts with your boyfriend/girlfriend, your close friend, or your brothers/sisters? And you were angry with them? They make you sad and dissapointed? And then usually you just go away from them, left them alone. Do that make you happy? Make you satisfy?

Sometimes it was not their fault. But us. So, ask ourself, deep inside our heart. Do they deserve to be left? alone? I’m sure that they don’t want to be. Sometimes it was us who “initiate” the conflicts, make little problems become bigger, and something like that. We want them to understand us, but we don’t do the same. I’m sure (again) except those little problems, they have done many good things for us. Just remember that, remember that they loves us. We should not leave them.

Until one day, maybe we will realize that those were not all their fault, then of course we will regret it. Miss their smile? Absolutely. In fact, we still love and need them. The conflicts and our selfishness blinded us. So, start from now, be mature friends. If we have conflicts with the one who we love, try to be cool and just talk to them. Tell what we want, and hear what they want. They understand us, and we understand them. As simple as that.

I got those inspiration in 2010 (but the song has been finished written in November 2011), based on my own experience (yeah my experience is little bit complicated, you know, haha). I hope you will love this song, because “a good song is a good story”, hehe. Enjoy it! ;)

LELAH

Kau yang kucinta

Membuatku marah lagi

Membuatku kesal lagi

Dan kini aku tak peduli

Sudah sekian kali

Pertengkaran yang terjadi

Membutakan mata hati

Menghapus semua yang berarti

Dan kini aku pergi tinggalkan dirimu sendiri

Namun aku sadari lalu ku sesali semua ini

Lelah aku berpura-pura menutupi inginku tuk menyapamu

Ku tahu ku takkan bisa menjauhi dirimu oh aku rindu

Maafkan aku sayang ku tahu aku salah mendiamkanmu

Berikan aku senyuman itu dan usai sudah gelisahku

*Takkan ku ulang lagi bertingkah seperti ini

                Berdua kita lewati, bersama lagi

LONG ROAD TO “ST” (Part II)

February 23rd 2012. Wisegroo went to record their first single! Yeah, Me, Yogi, and Fiki did the first session. We recorded the guide track (Guide is the track that will make easier for musician to record the other track. This guide usually are guitar + vocal part), drum track, bass track, and rhytm guitar track. The second session will be lead guitar track, keyboard track, and vocal track. I hope the second session can be take next week. Be ready Tata & Niar! Hehe. Hmm, I just love this things. This is one of my dreams in the last year of my study in college. Have great band, with nice original songs will be so delightful for me. However, it has never been easy to maintenance a band, huhu. Schedule things is one the problems. The another my last year college dreams is make an annual jazz concert in my campus. That is why I initiated ITS Jazz community. (I’ll tell you about this one in another story).

One week before go home. It was so bored! I had to wait my final project’s proposal seminar turn. It had been delayed for a week from the schedule, huhu. But this week had come, the final project’s proposal seminar week. Me & Gaung had to present our proposal on Friday. And I had planned to go home directly after that, haha. I never felt homesick badly like that time before. Moreover, my Mom will celebrate her birthday on Sunday. Hmm, but this week was more like gift from God. How it could be? Yeah, start from Technology Application Seminar with Mrs. Tri Mumpuni on Tuesday. She is one of inspire person that I know. She is sociopreneur who has helped more than 60 villages to get electricity by microhydro technology. Yaa, I always want to be sociopreneur too someday. Help people by empowering them. Then on Thursday, mas Rama (he is my senior from K45, who had just come back from his master’s degree in Taiwan) asked me to accompany him to attend the Fullbright Scholarship Workshop. We were trained to make statement of purpose that day (statement of purpose is one of administration requirements to study overseas). And suddenly I didn’t know, I felt that I had to study overseas someday! Haha. What a great moment! Yeah, actually i had planned to get master’s degree. Not in engineering field (again), but in management field. Yeah, maybe I’ll take this chance after my sister graduate from her college, because it is still my responsibility to make sure that she can finish her college and of course I have to make happy my Mom first. My plan had changed, a little. Study overseas to get my master’s degree, 2014 or 2015 I think. Bismillah :) . The gifts from God hadn’t stopped there. On Saturday, I attended the Leadership Talk Seminar. And do you know who are the speakers? They are Major from Surabaya and Solo, Mrs. Risma and Mr. Jokowi. Both of them are great leaders for their city. I imagined that day, what if someday I become the Major of Pekalongan? Haha. It just an imagination. I’ve never planned that. But who knows? Only God knows :p . So I called this week “The Enriching Visions & Dreams Week”, haha. How about my final project’s proposal seminar? #ups. It went so fast & so bad, nothing much to tell. The fact is we (Me & Gaung) didn’ t really study hard yet to do our project. But I believe that it will be better soon. Amin.

Sunday, March 4th 2012. I’m home! And happy birthday to greatest & best Mom in the world. I LOVE YOU! <3 :* :* :*

Long Road to “ST” (Part 1)

February 1st 2012. The day had come! Yes, the convention of our plant design project held on that day. Did us nervous? Of course! Me and my lab partner, Gaung,  had very tiring weeks before the convention. We had to revise our plant design project report. We had to change the feed’s pressure, added compressor, and re-calculate the economical analysis after Prof. Gede revised us. (Actually they were our fault, because we met him rarely to report our project’s progress, hehe)

Oh, I almost forget to tell you what kind of plant which designed by us. We designed Cluster Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Plant. Yeah, this plant will produce natural gas in liquid phase. Maybe for you who doesn’t study engineering field will be unfamiliar with this plant. Hmm, LNG is an energy source, made by natural gas. So, the feed is natural gas itself of course. Actually, natural gas can be used directly using pipeline. So why does it need to be liquefied? The purpose is to make this natural gas easier to be distributed.  The feed will be processed and treated in several unit to produce LNG. One of the side product of this plant is LPG. I think you will be familiar with this one, because your mother use it to cook, haha.

That day, we had to present our work to three examiner, Prof. Roesyadi, Dr. Widyastuti, and Dr. Susianto. But Dr. Susianto didn’t come. Futhermore, the convention should be two hours, but it proceeded just one hour. We just so lucky that day, haha. However, the convention itself was still little creepy because our nervousness. Although we had prepared and studied hard for that day, we couldn’t answer some questions. Hmm, no, actually we knew the answers, but we can’t answered those questions fluently because of the way it asked, especially questions from Prof. Roesyadi, haha. Fortunately Prof. Gede helped us by some keywords. Few days after that day, the result of our convention was published. Thanks God we got “A“ grade!
